To enter Italy from foreigner countries you may need a VISA.
In the case of Compumag 2025, a specific requests for short stay (less than 30 days) and for conference attendance must be addressed to your local Italian Embassy. Useful indications can be found here:

We are available to send an invitation letter to ease VISA request. We are inviting you to attend a conference, so no “business” VISA is required, and the organizers are with a public institution: please keep this into account when addressing the VISA request to the Embassy.

• Your name, surname and title
• Your institution
• Any other details that are required by local authorities
